What it does
One of the broadest congressional efforts aimed specifically at freight fraud. The legislation addresses FMCSA registration security, fraud detection, motor-carrier identification, CDL and training-provider oversight, enforcement and coordination among agencies responsible for combating freight fraud and cargo theft.
Full title: To amend title 49, United States Code, to combat freight fraud and theft, and for other purposes.
