Emergency Tax Relief on Diesel Fuel
Directs Treasury to decide by October 10 whether it can defer the federal tax on highway use of dyed (off-road) diesel from Oct. 5 to Dec. 31, 2026, without interest or penalties; FMCSA coordinates with states and keeps enforcement running.
