FMCSA Reinstates Two CDL Schools, Closes Enforcement Dockets

So whatCarriers & drivers: confirm a CDL school's current TPR status before enrolling, since removals and reinstatements can happen within weeks.

FMCSA's Office of Safety Programs reinstated two entry-level driver training providers to its Training Provider Registry (TPR) on October 8, 2026, closing the enforcement dockets each had opened after emergency removal.

FMCSA removed MT Training Center, LLC of Desoto, Texas, and Soler & Soler CDL School Corp. of Miami, Florida, from the TPR on August 31, 2026, citing material deficiencies under 49 U.S.C. § 31305(c)(5) and 49 CFR § 380.723(e). Both schools petitioned for review of the removals. FMCSA's Chief Safety Officer directed the Office of Safety Programs to respond to each petition, and the office filed its responses in late September and early October.

In both cases, FMCSA said the schools took the corrective action needed to address the deficiencies identified in the removal notices. The agency reinstated each school to the TPR effective immediately and asked that the petitions be dismissed as moot and the dockets closed, since reinstatement resolved the underlying dispute.

What's next

  • Both dockets, FMCSA-2026-3070 and FMCSA-2026-3236, are expected to close following the agency's request.
  • Check the TPR directly at TPRdot.gov before enrolling drivers with any provider that has had recent registry activity.
