FMCSA Reinstates V2 Group to Training Provider Registry, Closes Docket
FMCSA's Office of Safety Programs filed a notice closing its case against V2 Group, an entry-level driver training provider, after reinstating the company to the agency's Training Provider Registry (TPR).
FMCSA removed V2 Group from the TPR on August 31, 2026, under an emergency removal citing deficiencies tied to an agency audit. The audit found V2 Group had issued Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) certifications to drivers who were later cited for failing to meet the English Language Proficiency (ELP) standard. V2 Group petitioned for review on September 3. FMCSA's Chief Safety Officer ordered the Office of Safety Programs to respond on October 14, and that response was filed October 26.
On October 28, FMCSA told V2 Group it had completed its review and found the company took the necessary corrective action to address the cited deficiencies. The agency reinstated V2 Group to the TPR effective immediately. With the company back on the registry, FMCSA said the petition is moot and asked that the proceeding be terminated and the docket closed.
