FMCSA Closes Case After Reinstating CDL School

So whatTraining providers: a Registry removal can be reversed quickly if you fix the cited deficiencies and respond fast—keep corrective-action documentation ready.

FMCSA's Chief Safety Officer dismissed a petition for administrative review filed by Soler & Soler CDL School Corp. of Miami, finding the case moot. The school had been hit with an emergency removal from the Training Provider Registry and filed a petition on September 1, 2026, under 49 CFR 380.723(d)-(e) to challenge it.

The agency ordered its Office of Safety Programs to respond. The Office Director replied on October 6, and the school submitted its own reply the same day. Two days later, on October 8, the Office Director told FMCSA it had reinstated the school to the Registry after Soler & Soler took corrective action to fix the deficiencies that triggered the emergency removal. The Office Director asked FMCSA to close the docket as moot.

Because the relief the school sought — reinstatement — had already happened, the Chief Safety Officer dismissed the petition and closed the docket on October 21, 2026. The order does not describe the underlying deficiencies or the corrective steps taken.
